Disruptive mindset of the civil servant (ASN) is the most important basic in the preparation of industry 4.0. imlementation in Indonesia. A Disruptive Mindset is a Mind Set for the Future. A mindset is a set of assumptions, methods, or notations held by one or more people or groups of people. A mindset can also be seen as incident of a person's world view or philosophy of life. An ASN mindset is an ASN’s world view or philosophy of life. An ASN’s World view will determine how do their service in his or her job and activity related to the implementation of industry 4.0. How to develope an ASN mindset to be a Disruptive Mindset according to Christopher Hitchens, via Jean-Paul Sarte, there are 7 points should be implemented by every ASN : 1. Never Stop Questioning Core Beliefs. 2. Be Extremely Well Read -- Especially of Those You Disagree With. 3. Never Miss an Opportunity to Travel Outside Your Home Country. 4. Make Friends with People You Wouldn't Normally Associate With. 5. Recognize That Change is the Only Constant. 6. Take Risks -- Ask for Forgiveness Rather than Permission. 7. Encourage and Learn From Failure.
